Wine Appreciation Course

wine appreciation course
This course is ideal for anyone wishing to be introduced to wine in an informative and structured manner and is suitable for both the enthusiast and those entering or already working in wine and hospitality business requiring a good level of product knowledge. You will learn in a comfortable, convivial and structured manner about the basics of wine i.e. the grape varieties, the art of wine tasting, how wine is made and the countries that grow them etc..
DURATION AND OTHER DETAILS:
• The course will be run over six weeks, one evening a week for 2 hours at the prestigious and award winning Jacks' Coastguard Restaurant, Comane Lower, Killorglin, Co. Kerry, Co. Kerry from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
• Course fee of €200 per person will include weekly tasting wines and lecture by Alain Bras.
• On completion of the course (week 6) there will be a wine quiz after which a selection of canapés and cheese to enjoy.
• Each student will receive an ABSW (Alain Bras School of Wine) Certificate of Completion.
