On the Valley of the Dordogne in Perigord lies this exceptional site; elevation and soil of chalk and limestone in layers, with clay and silex on top soil. The wide Dordogne River creates a fog which provokes the famous Botrytis (Noble Rot) Fungus that sets on the skin, to accelerate the sugars.
Food Suggestion:
Upside-down Apple Tart.
